The Namekuji (internally known as かえるキャラ, Kaeru Kyara, Frog Characters) are decorative NPCs that appear throughout Forest World.
Overview
The Namekuji resemble long ghosts or slugs (hence the name) with drool dripping from their mouths and onto the ground. There are two variants that appear through Forest World: a light-pink variant with maroon drool and white eyes and a purple variant with green drool and yellow, lashed eyes. When interacted with, they appear to hover above Madotsuki, wiggling above her until she enters a new area.
As they are decorative characters, they do not react to any effects.
Trivia
- The alternate name "Frog Characters" comes from the fact that internally, the Nexus worlds are named according to the respective effect that can be found there (Number World is called Lamp, Neon World is called Neon, Shield-Folk World is called Cat, etc.). As such, this name simply refers to the fact that they appear in the Forest World, which is named Frog internally as it contains the Frog effect.
