Features
Jigsaw Junction is designed like a horizontally looping hallway built of colorful jigsaw pieces and smaller jigsaw panels. The area features several spinning ducks holding maracas that make a goofy *boing* sound when interacted and a giant duck chewing a maraca. The duck NPCs also react differently to various effects as listed below.
The ducks react negatively towards Chainsaw, Wolf, Telephone, School Boy and Drum. Equipping Chainsaw makes the big duck glare menacingly and makes them move more hesitated. Using Telephone, Wolf or School Boy makes the big duck do a mean glare and the Wolf effect action scares the smaller ducks. Equipping Drum makes the big duck look displeased and using it shocks it.
The ducks react positively towards Insect, Fairy, Bunny Ears, Rainbow, Trombone and Cake. Equipping Insect makes the big duck happy and using it shocks the big duck, equipping Fairy, Bunny Ears and Rainbow make the big duck happy and the smaller ducks move towards Urotsuki. Using Rainbow or Fairy makes the big duck close their eyes from the bright flash and the Rainbow effect makes the ducks move noticeably faster towards Urotsuki. Equipping Trombone attracts smaller ducks and using it shocks the bigger duck, equipping Cake makes the big duck happy but the smaller ducks aren’t interested in it and equipping Child attracts the smaller ducks but the big duck isn’t interested in it. The ducks stop spinning when using Crossing making them all face the player.
Interacting with the group of dancing cubes a bit left from the giant duck take the player to Wooden Cubes Playground and the ones a bit right take the player to Stained Glass Cosmo.
Going up north behind one of the panels in the northern end with a yellow puzzle piece in the centre leads to a photorealistic subarea. Going right in the subarea leads through different real-life photos depicting a house’s foundation, a grass field, a park ending with two seaside images of rocks and a beach featuring a construction sign and a green-haired female soldier. The soldier stops moving and follows Urotsuki with their eyes when using Chainsaw or Invisible, which also shrouds her face in darkness.
