Yume Nikki: I Am Not in Your Dream (ゆめにっき あなたの夢に私はいない) is a novel written by Akira that was first published in Japanese on August 28, 2013, as part of Project Yume Nikki. It contains around 200 pages spanning across multiple chapters. The novel was illustrated by Ako Arisaka and was later translated into English by Amber Tamosaitis, then republished on January 7, 2018.

The novel, like the game, documents Madotsuki's travels through the dream world, including the effects and characters she meets as well as the numerous events she experiences. Madotsuki herself doesn't speak, but rather, the first few chapters of the novel are told in a second-person perspective before switching to Poniko's point of view later on.

Part 1 of the English translation can be read online on the J-Novel Club page, and the full e-book can be bought on multiple sites, including Amazon, Apple Books, the Google Play Store and Rakuten Kobo.
