Sky Islands is a large world accessible from the yellow orb in the angel's hand in Purple Town or from the white tree in Star Field.

Features

This world is primarily made up of two sections. The upper section of the world has a field full of trees and rocks, as well as a path leading to a building covered in pipes. Inside the building is an elevator, leading to the roof. The roof is decorated with several bushes. Using the origami effect in an opening between the bushes will trigger the Origami Flight event, where Totsutsuki will fly over the landscape, much like the Witch's Flight event from Yume Nikki. On the right of the roof is a yellow orb, serving as a connection to Purple Town.

The lower section are the sky islands themselves, a cluster of grassy floating islands connected by odd bridges. A tombstone can be seen on one isolated island. The leftmost island has a portal resembling a yin-yang symbol which takes you to Dojo Island. The rightmost island has a white tree with several stars around it, serving as a connection to Star Field.

Dojo Island

Dojo Island is an island floating in front of some mountains and is home to a singular dojo surrounded by mist. Upon entering the dojo, you will encounter several stationary monks, as well as some monks walking around. Attacking any of the monks with the Lily of the Valley effect will trigger the Corrupted Dojo event, where the lights dim, the music slows down, and the monks become Chasers. Leaving Dojo Island through the portal will stop the event.

There is an entrance to a room to the right of the dojo, where the Dojo Master is presumably teaching their students. Interacting with them will display a full-screen image of their face. The backdoor of the dojo leads to a path going into the sky, leading to Heaven's Docks.

Trivia

  • In older versions of the game, the sky in the background was much more pale and was completely static. There also wasn't any mist surrounding the dojo.
