Should run the game through applocale first of course, if you aren't. All those question marks should be japanese text.

I didn't make the automatic thing so I know like nothing about it, that might have meant that the rtp didn't install, but I dunno. You could always try manually installing the 2000 rtp if it turns out it didn't actually work.
