The Wintry Cliffs is a snowy area accessible from the Forgotten Megalopolis.
Features
The area starts off inside what appears to be a cottage with two creepy-looking posters behind the front desk and its attendant. The southern exit leads to the main area, and interacting with the attendant will let the attendant react with a humming sound, and the attendant transforms into the following creatures depending on the effect that Urotsuki has equipped, as listed below:
- Glasses, Child, Bunny Ears, Fairy: Dummy
- Polygon, Rainbow, Spacesuit: Crystal
- Teru Teru Bōzu, Haniwa, Gakuran: Sun and moon intersecting
- Maiko, Marginal, Plaster Cast, Grave: Ghost
- Chainsaw, Stretch: One-eyed Scary Face-like creature
The main area is a mountainous, snow-covered environment, where a strong snowstorm rages throughout. Snowed trees scatter the area, along with cordoned-off caves in some parts of the cliffs. Though these caves may easily be mistaken for passages to areas that have yet to be made, they are actually part of the scenery.
As you go down the cliffs, you can find a winged statue in the western part of the area. Heading further down the area will eventually make the snowstorm's sound muffled, and climbing the ladder at that point will lead to the cliff's depths, where the snowstorm can no longer be experienced. Here, the ladders of the lowest section are surrounded by spinning fans, and going deeper there takes you to the waters below, where you can find a cave to the Tomb of Velleities at the bottom.

Trivia
- The heavily-snowed trees' appearances are based on Niccolo Bonfadini's Sentinels of the Arctic, a series of photos showing similar trees from Finnish Lapland.
