Digital Forest is an area populated with outlines of trees with a background of a pixelated red creature, with blob-like creatures named 01-kun, who have ears shaped as 0 and 1, inhabiting the area. Its overall design is reminiscent of the original Forest World.
The first section of this area is a horizontally looping one, where heading southwest will eventually lead to a dead end with a zipped folder, resembling a file archive icon. Using the Lantern will open the folder, which takes you to the second section. If the Chainsaw is used instead, the background will change.
Note that the destinations from the tree that you start from are mutually exclusive: if you have entered the area from Geometry World, the tree will lead back there, likewise with Smiley Signs World.
In the second section, there are three barricaded paths: one that has a red object behind the barricades, where the Rainbow changes its appearance, a passageway alongside a monitor and some weird statues, as well as a building next to a downward staircase. The aforementioned passageway leads to Fluorescent Halls, provided that you have entered through the opposite entrance, where the barricade would then be removed upon doing so. Going through the path with traffic cones scattered, and entering the zipped folder, there is an isolated area where you can find a pair of finger outlines in the southernmost path, which leads to the Finger Candle World.
