So... I basically came in here to say that I don't really think this world's name is appropriate, at least based off of what I'm 90% certain is the original origin of the English name (that being that it's supposed to resemble an ecstasy trip)

For one, at least based on visualizations of drug trips I've found on Youtube, this world doesn't really look like an ecstasy trip anymore since the ver.0.103 edits. The original world was intensely colorful, which is where the name came from, but the new world is all muted reds and blues and purples that, although they look weird, don't seem to look much like what Youtube thinks an ecstasy trip looks like.

But even if my lack of experience with drugs betrays me, or if Youtube has lied, I still believe it's inappropriate. See, a common thing newcomers ask about this game is if it's related to drugs of some sort, and ultimately it undermines the meaning of the game itself, by saying that the dreams are not actually symbolic of anything, created purely from the protagonist's psyche, but simply that they're random visuals created by a drug trip. As such I don't really believe naming a world after the fact that it resembles a drug trip does not seem appropriate at all.

As for an alternative, I would personally propose "Oudn City", after the Japanese name. Regardless of how much this world actually seems characteristic of Oudn, I still believe it to be better than Ecstasy World. Lips McGee (talk) 00:55, December 13, 2017 (UTC)

Another case of 103i; ie how the pastel blue house is now more of an "overgrown house" now, but someone liked the familiarity of the old name and didn't want it changed. I'm not sure what you'd even rename this area to now though, and oudn city sounds a bit lame. Its more like.. I dunno, vein world? Red and blue wiggly world. Who knows. What does this even resemble now?

Obviously the name "ecstasy world" refers to the old psychedelic-looking tileset for the area, which made it a pain to navigate. LainIwakura (talk) 14:36, December 14, 2017 (UTC)
