Although I never had problems with missing files, it bothers me why many other people have these issues, when we all use the same install packages. My only idea at the moment is that because only a few western people use Japanese locale on their systems (or even have Japanese language support installed), the installer corrupts some of the files with names containing Japanese characters. (And I never understood why the developers can't just use romaji filenames, and save us from all this trouble...)
