The Ice Chapel is an area accessible from the well in the Winter Village.
Features
This small area starts off in a dim room with many columns and a floor made of dirt. From here, the player can go in three directions. Heading left will bring you to a place of worship, with several rows of pews facing some ledges with a gong at the top. There is a small chance of the ghost of a saint appearing here, who will teleport behind Kubotsuki and recite prayers, before fading away. This causes Kubotsuki to black out and wake up in the same place. Seeing this event unlocks wallpaper #25.
Going down the right path will bring you to a staircase that leads to a long hallway with stained glass windows, leading to the Cabin.
Taking the northern path will lead you through some winding passageways. A large opening can be found on one of the walls in this section, leading to the Forsaken Cliff. Interestingly, one short path results in a dead end with a broken statue, similar to the jade statue seen in Totsutsuki's Broken World
As the path continues, it will become more and more covered in ice and the lights will get brighter. Going right from here will bring you to a door which leads to a very dark hallway, ending in several large hooded figures called The Disciples holding glowing orbs. Going left, the path splits in two directions. Going south will bring you to another door which leads back to the Winter Village. Going north will bring you to a serene outlook, looking over a forest.

Trivia
- This area is based off of the paintings of Carl Hasenpflug, a 19th century German artist known for painting cathedrals in snowy landscapes.
- There are several images that can be seen carved into the ice, including eyes, Kubotsuki's symbol, Totsutsuki's symbol, and the window design on Madotsuki's shirt from Yume Nikki.
