At the start of the game, the player starts in front of the window within a tall apartment building, in the middle of stormy weather. Facing up shows the interior: a well-furnished bedroom with what appears to be a wooden floor, and a light-brown wall with a white baseboard. Inside the room is a wooden bookcase and closet, a desk with a PC, and a bed with a blue blanket, which Itsuki can sleep in, prompting a three-second countdown before entering the [[Someday:The Nexus|dream world]]. There is also a door on the northern portion, where Itsuki would shake his head when the player attempts to interact with it, considering that the weather is too harsh for Itsuki to leave the building that he is in.

Interacting with the PC makes Itsuki take a seat, for him to use it. With the PC, the player can either:
* Save their progress
* Play [[Someday:ZApNeF|ZApNeF]], or
* Configure the game's cache settings, which allows for preloading audio assets, a feature available in the game's Evergreen Edition.

Itsuki's Room is the game's starting point, as well as its end point.

Features

At the start of the game, the player starts in front of the window within a tall apartment building, in the middle of stormy weather. Facing up shows the interior: a well-furnished bedroom with what appears to be a wooden floor, and a light-brown wall with a white baseboard. Inside the room is a wooden bookcase and closet, a desk with a PC, and a bed with a blue blanket, which Itsuki can sleep in, prompting a three-second countdown before entering the dream world. There is also a door on the northern portion, where Itsuki would shake his head when the player attempts to interact with it, considering that the weather is too harsh for Itsuki to leave the building that he is in.

Interacting with the PC makes Itsuki take a seat, for him to use it. With the PC, the player can either:

  • Save their progress
  • Play ZApNeF, or
  • Configure the game's cache settings, which allows for preloading audio assets, a feature available in the game's Evergreen Edition.
