The Dead Techno Fields is a relatively small area, with a brown door on the leftmost side leading to the Abandoned School, and a red door on the rightmost side leading to the Industrial Tubes.
Scattered within the area are broken down electronics with plants, fungi, and bloody intestine-like tubes growing out of them. Floppy disks with blinking eyes and jittery little legs walk among this area as well.
Near the Industrial Tubes door is the Mushroom Lion, a strange large white creature with one large red eye on top of its mane lying on the ground. Depending on what effects you have collected or have equipped, the lion will react accordingly. If you haven't collected the Mushroom Effect yet, interacting with the lion will give you this effect and then trigger the Stomidori's Slam Poetry Performance event. Afterwards, having no effects equipped and interacting with the lion will make Reshnha simply say "Lion". Wearing the Suit Effect will make the lion stand up and open its eye wide as its pupil seems to twitch in fear. Interacting with it while wearing the suit effect will make the lion sweat nervously as Reshnha stares back silently at it.

Stomidori's Slam Poetry Performance Event

"Souls and ideas are like fungi:
you cannot kill them in a way that matters.
"

- From Stomidori's poem, found in this event.

Collecting the Mushroom Effect will cause the screen to fade to black, and fade back in to show a TV screen displaying a stage that Stomidori will walk onto and speak a few lines before the screen fades back out to the Dead Techno Fields.
This event can't be triggered again once viewed.

Trivia

  • The mushroom lion is supposed to have a reaction to the Swim Tube Effect as well, cowering and covering its head with its claw-like paws. Interacting with it is supposed to make Reshnha say "Poor thing." as it is coded into the Lion's reactions and there are sprites in the graphics for this. For some reason however, this does not work in-game.
