Long-Fallen Ruins is an area accessible from an open grave in Dimensional Graves.

Map of Long-Fallen Ruins

Features

Long-Fallen Ruins is a horizontally looping world flooded by dark waters. Lily pads and tall bunches of reeds, as well as damaged pillars and archways, litter the waterlogged expanse.

Currently, the world's only connection is the open burial plot which serves as the entrance from Dimensional Graves.

Visible south-west from the open grave is a lily pad that is conspicuously bobbing up and down. When interacted with, it will reveal itself to be some sort of creature, emitting a long squeak, flashing a pair of yellow eyes which lie beneath its leaf, and beginning to slowly follow Minnatsuki around. The creature is not capable of following Minnatsuki out of the water. Interacting with it again will cause it to become submerged, leaving only a round silhouette visible in the water. Stepping onto the silhouette and pressing the 'Z' key will cause the creature to reemerge and begin to follow Minnatsuki again. Equipping the Soulfire eidolon will prompt it to submerge itself and dart away rapidly under the water, as if frightened. The creature can be killed in this state to collect 100 Luna—albeit with some difficulty due to its speed—by using the Soulfire eidolon while standing on top of its silhouette. Otherwise, unequipping the Soulfire eidolon will cause it to reemerge and move towards Minnatsuki as normal.

A large ruined structure sits on the northern end of the map. The structure is covered in vines which serve as ladders that enable Minnatsuki to climb their way upwards, as well as stairways and shallow canals that can be crossed on foot. The canals spill over into numerous waterfalls which cannot be traversed. Climbing a vine just north of the staircase that allows access to the ruins will reveal a wide bench that can be sat on.

At the top of the structure is a large monochromatic monster named Augustulus with a single massive eye that the camera pans over to when approached. Equipping the Spectral eidolon will reveal a new path that runs behind the monster's eye. Once Minnatsuki passes behind the eye, the pupil will narrow vertically as if "closed," and remain in this state until Minnatsuki exits the world. Continuing eastward at the edge of screen will pan the camera over to a view of even more of the monster's body, as well as the rest of pathway, which terminates at a jagged opening in the monster's tail. Currently, this opening is blocked off by an open connection sign.
