The City of Liars is an area accessible from the sewers of Bright Forest.

Features

The City of Liars is a red, foggy complex of buildings. Red lamp posts and structures can be found in the area. Heading east from the entrance there can be found a building with an open door, leading to a room with the town's inhabitants and some vending machines. Here, you can find a door on the leftmost side, which leads to a small room with a 01-kun. Interacting with it will show a message that reads "******************". This is important for an event that takes place in the Unknown Child's Room.

Back outside, there are several spaced out barricades to the east of the door. Heading past them leads to a more open area made up of several winding paths in a purple void. Going south leads to a hidden room that features a hanged creature, a small hole with face on it, and NPCs that completely filled the room. Going north leads to a long path that currently does not lead anywhere, while going east leads you down a series of paths ending in a wide building with an open door. Entering the aforementioned door leads to the Hallway Maze.

Hallway Maze

The Hallway Maze, fittingly, is a large maze made of red hallways. Each hallway is connected by doorways and windowed corridors. Several potted plants can be found throughout this area, as well as strange humanoid creatures with blood dripping from their eyes.

From the entrance, heading east into the first corridor, then west until you hit a wall, then all the way south until you're at the bottom will place you at a hallway going leading east and west. To the west here is a small nook with potted plants and an odd stick figure smoking a cigarette, while to the east is a strange "talking" NPC that will take you to the Footprint Path.

Footprint Path

The Footprint Path is a linear pathway made up of white footprints. Lining this section are abstract pillars with holes in them. At the end of the path is a blue and green staircase attached to a flight of invisible stairs, which leads to Nightfall Park.

Trivia

• Prior to 0.115i, the area's entirety was surrounded by red and black water.
• Prior to 0.116a, Ahogeko's House connected to an isolated section to this area, where the northern path lead to a house inhabited by a creature which when chainsawed granted you Menu Theme #38. This room has since been moved to the basement of Ahogeko's House.
