Features

April is a large, non-looping location whose main feature is a town inhabited by many small, mostly food-themed NPCs. It has a generally bright atmosphere, with the town's colorful brick buildings surrounded by flowers, picnic blankets, and lush, green forests. Most of the NPCs do not have special interactions with any eidola, with the exception of the marshmallows, which change appearance when burned with Soulfire.

The entrance from Twilight Woods places Minnatsuki in a small map by an open manhole in the middle of a road. Traveling eastbound on this road will lead to a much larger map containing the town itself and a majority of its content. From this map transition, continuing to travel eastbound on the road will lead to a bike shop on the north side of the road; the bike shop can be identified by a blue sign hanging on its side and a sandwich board in front of it, both of which feature a bicycle symbol. For 100 Luna, interacting with the NPC behind the counter in the bike shop will allow Minnatsuki to rent a two-speed bicycle. As with running, the bicycle's speed can be toggled using the Shift key; the bicycle's low gear is identical to Minnatsuki's running speed while its high gear is considerably faster. The bicycle can be taken inside of any building in April, but it will be dismounted when equipping any eidola, leaving through the Twilight Woods manhole, or sleeping in the bed to the north of the town. When dismounted, the bike will need to be rented from the bike shop again for another 100 Luna. Renting a bicycle unlocks the Gleeful Joyride book cover.

In the middle of the town, towards the east end, is a cafe that can be identified by a yellow sign hanging on its side and a sandwich board out front that both depict a cup of coffee. Inside, in the same manner as a vending machine, the apple behind the counter can be interacted with for 100 Luna for a food or drink item. Interacting with the record player in the northwest corner of the room will stop and play the music in the room. Additionally, interacting with one of the three records on the bottom shelf to the right of the record player will place it in the record player, changing the music that plays.

The cliffs on the north side of the town can be accessed via a wooden staircase northwest of the cafe. From here, traveling west through the cliffs to the west eventually leads to another small map containing a lone bed in the middle of a forest. Climbing into this bed starts a 3-second countdown that transports Minnatsuki to September. September is also accessible in April through the door in the westernmost building, but this connection must first be unlocked from the other side.

On the far west outskirts of the town is a small windmill that can be entered using the Rodentia eidola, leading to the Mini Golf Maze.
