Thank you for the confirmation. I couldn't quite figure it out. The stairs simply did not appear until after I went through the archive which is why I assumed the two were related. ... And everyone seems to be getting different enemies in the Unknown Ending- I wonder why. When I reload the game it is still Cake-tan for me.
