Name Change
Does anyone else agree that this monster should have a better name than "The Thing with the Quivering Jaw"? Skelwor 04:16, 4 July 2011
- Actually, I, for one, like that name. I like that it's a bit of a mouthful yet still descriptively vague, so it's kind of a tongue-in-cheek gag without it being facetious in the context. It's also one of the few of the more well-known characters that have English names, so I support it. //TenhGrey 08:12, July 4, 2011 (UTC)
- Huh... I see your point. Well, if no one wants the name changed, then so be it. I'm starting to see the appeal of it. Skelwor 02:51, July 5, 2011 (UTC)
- I would have suggested a name like Yadzutsu-jo (Quiver-Jaw) But yeah. "The Thing with the Quivering Jaw" does seem to work better. -Emerald-Shadow-Knight
Buddha Reference
I think it's worth mentioning that the head Madotsuki enters this room from appears to be the head of Buddha. I'm not sure if there is any significance, but deities in Buddhist art are often depicted with extra limbs.174.31.168.212 23:39, October 23, 2012 (UTC)
