For those curious, the reason for the split pages is that those use a template which makes badge data accessible via API. Initially this main badge list was supposed to have those templates, but it made loading the page even more slow, so everything was split up. --ZASNK (talk) 02:49, 10 June 2024 (UTC)
Do we still need the main list? Could we delete it? It difficult to maintain same info in 2 different places (and also pointless). Puckish (talk) 22:28, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
- Regarding deletion, I see a notice was put up by Entropy. I don't have a problem with deleting the main list. I remember the reason it was kept was some people wanted to search for all of one artist's badges, maybe some other details too. The page is massive and will continue to grow so I think leaving it split is the better option. On most wikis massive pages are split for better usability. We can try to implement some way to help users search for info like badge authors, which I know is possible using Semantic MediaWiki's search functions.
- I will say though the "unmaintained" complaint is very easy to solve. You can do:
