The Puppet Theater is an area accessible from the puppet stage in the Playing Card Maze, after meeting certain conditions.

Features

The inital room for this area has rows of seats facing a small stage with two marionettes dancing. It is rather dark, but using the Lamppost effect will light the area up. Kubotsuki can walk onto the stage and go behind the curtains, leading him backstage. Here, there are a number of curtains hanging from above and many more marionettes dancing around. One of the marionettes resembles Holebun from the Sandy Showroom, as well as a group of marionettes resembling the DUDES in the All-Seeing Forest. One can also find a marionette of the hooded chaser, who seems to be running after a puppet version of Kubotsuki. Using the Seer effect here will change the Kubotsuki puppet to look like Totsutsuki.

Towards the back of this place is a torn curtain with a shadow coming from behind it. Ripping the tear open with the Pencil effect will reveal a doorway, taking you to a lofty room with odd symbols on the wall. Climbing up the stairs here will take you past some platforms with hooded figures on them, leading up to a door. This will take you to the upper level of the place, where it is revealed the hooded figures are the ones controlling the puppets below. Attempting to attack any of the puppeteers with the Pencil will cause them to angrily snarl and unequip your effect. Following the path up here should eventually lead to another door.

Inside, there are more hooded men standing completely still. Using the Seer effect will cause their eyes to glow, as well as revealing the Anti-Seer, who is much larger than the rest. Interacting with him will display a full screen image of his face, before quickly distorting into a much more disturbing expression with eyeballs appearing behind him. Kubotsuki will then be trapped in a closed off area, forcing him to wake up or use the Box to escape.
