[[Category:2i9]] The Blob Desert is a large desert-like area accessible from Sugar Road.

Map of Blob Desert

Features

Upon arrival, the player finds themselves in a small cave-like subsection of the main desert. It is mostly featureless besides an exit via a crack in the northeastern wall. Exiting this area, the player is taken to the desert proper. Two smiling creatures can be found just at the entrance of the desert. There's a 13% (Variable 44 with a value of 218 or more) chance that there will be blood coming from its mouth. The area is a large, open expanse, covered with many blob-like creatures and structures.

There are many small, enterable pyramids present here, some of which house NPCs, and others being entirely empty. To the southwest of the entrance is a pyramid that leads to Stellar Mausoleum after a static transition, and is flanked by two odd sights, alongside an unusual warning sign. On the left side of the pyramid is a large, deformed being, wearing what seems to be an Egyptian headdress. To the right, a tall, abstract looking creature which makes a deep sound when interacted with.

Another pyramid can be found by going to the left and slightly down from the entrance. This pyramid contains a blue NPC creature a reception desk. Interacting with this NPC changes your current Menu Theme with the Menu Theme #23, unlocking it. Interacting with the blue creature again equips the Menu Theme that was previously being used.

Trying to make it rain by using the Teru Teru Bōzu effect in this area will flash the screen, before going back to normal.

Trivia

  • Before version 0.111, the pyramid that currently serves as a connection with the Stellar Mausoleum, used to contain a circular plaque with a weird symbol. Interacting with this symbol used to unlock Menu Theme #23.
  • All pyramids are actually the same, but the content of the pyramid changes when it's entered.
  • The inside of the pyramids is located at the bottom-left corner of the Monkey Mansion map.
  • Before version 0.112i, the connection to Stellar Mausoleum was one-directional.
