The Neon Highway (狂P=ZONE, Kyō P=ZONE, Mad P=ZONE) is a very strange, currently unfinished area accessible from the roads leading into the main Highway area. (random chance?)

It can take a while, but simply moving back and forth from the main Highway to the northeastern side highway will take you to this little slice of poorly play-tested heaven.
Features
The Neon Highway appears to have the same layout as the normal Highway, but features a bright outline art style somewhat reminiscent of Geometry World. The background music has been replaced by dissonant, wobbly noise and static, and the area is somewhat difficult to navigate due to errors in the map's tileset collision data.

There are numerous multicolored neon silhouettes resembling Urotsuki in the northern portion of the area, some of which will turn to face her when interacted with. Two of these stand side by side and rapidly flash different colors, but are not accessible thanks to the map's poor collision.

The central shop behind them can be entered, but must be accessed by going around the perimeter of the area onto the roof of the building due to collision errors. Inside is a neon version of the shop from the Highway, complete with a neon version of the shopkeeper himself. Leaving the building will take you back to the normal Highway.
Accessing the area

Midway down the area to the east of the parking spaces is a small building with a face on its roof, which is unblocked, unlike the regular highway's version. It can be accessed from the roof like the shop, but only plays a rattling sound when interacting with the door.
Accessing the Neon Highway can be somewhat difficult, as typically it would be very rare to encounter it during normal gameplay. The easiest way to access the area is to leave the inter-section area of the Highway through either exit on the western side of the map. After passing one section of the Highway road, go back and forth between the two screens at least 18 times, then return to the inter-section by at which point you should gain access to the top section of the Neon Highway (make sure not to go back and forth between the inter-section area and the Highway road, as travelling from the inter-section to other areas of the Highway resets the variable required to gain access to the Neon Highway). Very rarely, Urotsuki will instead gain access to the bottom section of the Neon Highway, however this will only happen when variable 0603 (this variable allows access to the Neon Highway if the variable's value is higher than 1335, which increases a random amount between 68 - 78 every time you go back and forth on the highway) is exactly 1335. Due to the chances of hitting 1335 exactly being very small, it is almost impossible to gain access to this area without debugging.

To the south, the various other paths leading out of the central Highway hub are blocked by numerous different things, ranging from more luminous silhouettes of Urotsuki, to odd dancing non-neon traffic cones, complete with a moving Under Construction sign, to a construction barrier that chases you around.

This area has a similar layout to the regular version of the Highway inter-section, however the area is surrounded by neon silhouettes of Urotsuki that cannot be moved or killed with the Chainsaw, making it very difficult to navigate. In the top section, there is a neon version of the shop that can be entered, a bathroom section that is blocked off (although the area is accessible by walking on broken tileset and gaining access to the roof) and by walking across the looped road section that Urotsuki entered can gain access to an area with a large neon bench. The neon shop contains a neon version of the shopkeeper, however all other elements of the shop have been replaced with neon outlines of flames. Occasionally, the doors will refuse to open trying to leave the shop, usually only leaving you the option to walk out of the same door you walked in from. The bathroom area is mostly similar to the regular version, however upon opening any of the cubicle doors an infinite number of neon silhouettes will walk out in a similar fashion to the Giant Cloning Room event.

The bottom section is mostly cornered off due to the amount of neon silhouettes blocking the way, however it is possible to be able to get to a neon version of the taxi. Unlike the regular taxi which transports you to Purple World, entering the taxi will take you to a sectioned off area, with a taxi upon what looks like a neon version of the pillars found in the Underwater Amusement Park .

Trying to bypass the barriers and take any of the roads out of town by walking on the badly collision-checked walls results in the road oddly looping back to another road at the diagonally-opposite end of the area.

Trivia
*In the game's data, there are neon versions of the interiors of both of the restrooms found in the Highway, but they currently can't be entered.
*Interacting with either the two unreachable, color-shifting silhouettes at the northern edge of the area will teleport Urotsuki to a spot not far to the southwest. This can only be done using debug tools.

The Neon Highway (狂P=ZONE, Kyō P=ZONE, Mad P=ZONE) is a hidden area that can be accessed from the Highway . Comparable to the Moonside level in Earthbound, the Neon Highway is an alternative version of the inter-section area of the Highway. Currently the area is a dead end, with the only way of leaving is by either waking up or using the Eyeball Bomb effect.

Accessing the area

Features This area has a similar layout to the regular version of the Highway inter-section, however the area is surrounded by neon silhouettes of Urotsuki that cannot be moved or killed with the Chainsaw, making it very difficult to navigate.
