Rainy Town, as its name suggests, is a tiny town set against a rainy, starry sky, inhabited by assorted NPCs including various lamp-people. The area is dotted with beige brick buildings, street lamps, reflective puddles, and potted plants, a few of which contain a creature or two living in it. As this area is unfinished, several of these houses or doors are barricaded with construction signs. | Rainy Town, as its name suggests, is a tiny town set against a rainy, starry sky, inhabited by assorted NPCs including various lamp-people. By taking the door to the right of the entrance and taking another right door, you will come across a green-skinned, black-clad NPC who is seen lighting one of the lamp people with a pole-like object. If you interact with the lamplighter, they will blink at you and bring you to another section of Rainy Town, where you may visit their house by taking the left door. There, the Lamplighter can be found sitting on their sofa, jamming out to some tunes. | By taking the door to the right of the entrance and taking another right door, you will come across a green-skinned, black-clad NPC who is seen lighting one of the lamp people with a pole-like object. Features
By chainsawing the Lamplighter, the screen will flash red showing their gruesome end. Exiting the room after that will reveal that some strange, ghostly creatures are lurking around the town proper, where the Lantern effect can repel them. By making your way back to the door to the exit, the door will now be red, and interacting with it will trigger an event involving the Lamplighter and one of the lamp people, ending in a jumpscare, which will then wake Urotsuki up with a start.
