Sugar World (シュガー, Shuga, Sugar) is an area accessible by turning on the lamp in GALAXY Town. Various desserts and candy can be found scattered throughout the map.
Features
As its name implies, Sugar World is sweets-themed. The ground is pink, and things like strawberries, jellybeans, and dollops of frosting litter the terrain. Large holes and cracks can be found in the ground; one of them contains a ladder which leads down into the Sugary Depths.
There are two large cakes, one of which can be entered, as well as two NPC's wandering about the area: one green-schemed boy and one orange-schemed girl. In addition, just like in Cutlery World, Candyhead can be found here. She reacts in the same ways as the one in Cutlery World, being immune to power tools and shifting her eyes in response to the Child effect. Unlike other NPCs that appear in two separate worlds despite being identical (for example the brain creature in Vase World, and the identical one in Hand Fields), there is no way to teleport between the two Candyheads, disappointingly.
Upon entering the cake with Urotsuki's face on it, one can find a small girl whom reacts to several effects:
- Penguin: Follows Urotsuki around.
- Rabbit Ears: Follows Urotsuki around, hopping.
- Child: Hops when Urotsuki hops with the action button.
- Chainsaw: Runs away from Urotsuki.
- Marginal: Rapidly runs about the room at a high speed, as if panicking.
- Bug: Runs away from Urotsuki with her face scrunched in disgust.
- Cake: Follows Urotsuki at a quick pace.
- Spring: Jumps when Urotsuki jumps with the action button.
Note: As of ver.0.105f, the house cake, its contents included, does not seem to exist anymore.
Sugary Depths
This is a darker, looping world with slowed- down music, with purple icing instead of pink and many red hands scattered around the world, similar to the ones in Yume Nikki's Eyeball World. Multiple creepy, sugary blobs with arms and faces scatter the area, which can be entered if attacked in the face. One of them is found just southwest of the entrance, and contains a portal to the False Shoal.
