Frog Characters (かえるキャラ, Kaeru Kyara) are decorative NPCs that are drooling, ghost-like creatures whose essence 'sticks' to Madotsuki when she interacts with them in Forest World. While they are named frog characters in their files, they do not actually resemble frogs, and look more like namekuji. There are two types of them: the first type has a pink outline, with white eyelids and maroon liquid coming out of their mouths, and the second type has a purple outline, yellow eyelashes while vomiting green liquid. There are 12 frog characters in total, with 6 of each type.

Interacting with them directly will show their wiggling shadow sticking on Madotsuki's head, and this follows Madotsuki anywhere in Forest World until she goes to another map. The player can only have two of these following them at a time.
Despite their name, they largely resemble long ghosts or slugs with drool dripping from their mouths and onto the ground. There are two variants that appear through Forest World: a light-pink variant with maroon drool and a purple variant with green drool. They don't react with any of the effects because they are a decorative character forming part of the tileset of the map.

The Frog Characters (かえるキャラ, Kaeru Kyara) or Namekuji are decorative NPCs that appear throughout Forest World.

Overview

Despite their name, they largely resemble long ghosts or slugs with drool dripping from their mouths and onto the ground. There are two variants that appear through Forest World: a light-pink variant with maroon drool and a purple variant with green drool. When interacted with, they appear to hover above Madotsuki, wiggling above her until she enters a new area. Only two of the Frog Characters can appear above Madotsuki at a time.

As they are decorative characters, they do not react to any effects.

Trivia

 • They belong to the few NPCs named by their files in the game, due to being in the Picture folder.
 • Their namesake comes from the fact that internally, the Nexus worlds are named according to the respective effect that can be found there (Number World is called Lamp, Neon World is called Neon, Shield-Folk World is called Cat, etc.). As such, their given name simply refers to the fact that they appear in the Forest World, which is named Frog internally as it contains the Frog effect.
