Dark Screaming Maze is an area accessible from the hole in the Hothouse.

Features

As the name implies, this area is a maze located in a dark world. Upon entry, it will be pitch black. The Light Bug effect is needed to progress.

Using the Light Bug effect will reveal the area is a maze made up of small groups of white tiles with various expressions. The maze will randomly change as you walk through it. While doing so, there is a chance that one of two wells leading to the Cheese Maze may spawn in the middle of the tiles. There is also a chance that a set of stairs may appear instead, leading to a secret area with moon-like terrain and a psychedelic monochrome background. It is recommended to proceed slowly through the area so the warps won't disappear as you're traveling the maze.
