The Red Desert was a small area in version 0.083c accessible from a tunnel on the Highway. By version 0.089b, it was expanded and changed from its original version, and removed entirely in 0.091h.

The Red Desert was a mostly empty, looping area with a heavily-saturated red tint. Southeast of the Highway entrance was a small fenced area filled with eyeball-like succulents that could be entered through a small hole in the fence. The sole inhabitant of this world was a single Shadow ???, located slightly to the north of the fenced area. Slightly further northwest of the Shadow ??? was a small red target.
By 0.089b, the area became much larger in size and the layout of the markings on the ground were completely changed. Additionally, the succulents were replaced by red eyeball NPCs.
