When exploring the dream world, Wormiko may occasionally come across various occurrences known as events. These events typically require a particular trigger in order to activate. This article is a list of many of the events found within the game, as well as their individual locations, their requirements to activate, and what they may unlock by activating.
Catgirl Ambush
Location: Wormiko's Room
Prompt: Repeatedly sleep then pinch yourself awake until the curtains in Wormiko's Room are closed. Then open the door or interact with the computer. Note that the curtains close only once per save file.
Description: A slimy green catgirl maid, similar to some of the other chasers in the dream world, appears from the computer screen if you interacted with the computer. If you've opened the door, the maid appears behind it. The screen flashes green and Wormiko gets sent to a randomized chaser trap.
Flight of Human Fireworks
Location: Moon Ornament
Prompt: Climb the top of the tower and look at the moon. Each time you step onto the top, there is a 1/8 chance that a flying creature can be seen when looking. When it appears, pressing the action button triggers the event
Description: Wormiko takes flight with the creature over the night sky, while people fly up into the sky and explode.
Note: While playing on EasyRPG or YNOproject, the player will not be able to move with the arrow keys or exit the map by using the cancel key. This is an issue with how the EasyRPG engine handles the command wait for a key input when tracking the keys used. Nonetheless, by holding one of the keys previously mentioned, and then by pressing or holding the Enter key, they should be able to move or exit the map.
Grayscale Room Event
Location: Rainy Islands
Prompt: Enter Nini's Room in Rainy Islands and turn the lightswitch on.
Description: There's a 1/34 chance that the room will turn into a high-contrast grayscale version of itself, which is accompanied by a droning static noise. Nini's body will become black with her head turning white with black spots, blending into the scene as if she disappeared. Wormiko can't leave, turn the lightswitch on again, or interact with anything, meaning the only way to exit is to wake up or use the Microwave Oven effect to return to the Nexus. This is a reference to the popular Uboa event in the original Yume Nikki.
Melting Wormiko
Location: Any
Prompt: Equip the Long Hair effect. While its equipped, if Wormiko sits down for too long, she will melt.
Description: Wormiko will suddenly melt into a puddle. She will automatically wake up afterwards.
Throne of Entrails
Location: Wormiko's Room
Prompt: Repeatedly sleep then pinch yourself awake until the curtains in Wormiko's Room are closed. Then pinch yourself again to be teleported to Throne of Entrails. To leave this area, pinch yourself awake again. Note that the curtains close only once per save file.
Description: Wormiko will be teleported to a pile of flesh known as the Throne of Entrails. Seeing this event will unlock the Hat and Scarf effect in the real world.
