The Name

I have absolutely no idea what Raitou-Oka means or could mean. The name doesn't  even seem to be an official one because this NPC is listed as Not Named on Uboachans page. So, if anyone happens to know anything please add the name explanation to the Raitou-Oka page.

  • Checking the history of the List of Characters Page, 'Raitou-Oka' was the name submitted by Nouillera on 29 July 2011. Apparently it means 'Walking Lamp' in Japanese.
It's not the official name, but with a vacuum of consensus it's very difficult to stop people adding random ideas to the page. I don't endorse these new fan names, but what can ya do?

  • I am Japanese, but I have no idea why 'Raitou-Oka' means 'Walking Lamp' in Japanese.
'Walking Lamp' is 走るランプ (Hashiru-lamp) in Japanese.  Raito(ライト) is a Japanese pronunciation of light. I think there is no word Raitou in Japanese.
