There are some other names I tried checking but couldn't figure if there was really any preferred way to write it. And again for names you'd write them in kana anyways, it's just since this is name origin I reckon it's more interesting written this way. ::I've added the common forms listed here as well as replaced some other words with their common forms. Thank you for informing me! --[[User:WikiOdd|WikiOdd]] ([[User talk:WikiOdd|talk]]) 04:36, 7 November 2024 (UTC) |

Common etymology
I was reading your character etymology table and noticed you sometimes used different spellings for some Japanese words than what I usually see. I think since you're listing the origins of the names and not just their "Japanese spelling" it might be worth considering using the common forms of some words instead of their hirigana forms (keeping in mind I don't actually speak Japanese):
- Henkei Shita is 変形した
- Medamaude is technically 目玉腕 (this is how it's written in the database, but of course in-game hiragana is used for names)
- Mizume would be 水目
- Monoe's name isn't written with the hiragana character え, her name uses the kanji 江, which has different meaning
- For Nekoin the word "neko" is 猫 (although its the same situation as medamaude)
- Nenriki is 念力
- Onsen is 温泉
- Tori (bird) is 鳥 and ningen (human) is 人間
There are some other names I tried checking but couldn't figure if there was really any preferred way to write it. And again for names you'd write them in kana anyways, it's just since this is name origin I reckon it's more interesting written this way. --ZASNK (talk) 00:36, 7 November 2024 (UTC)
