Nekoin resembles a pink, cat-shaped coin with a cat face on both sides. It has two dark red eyes and little violet eyelashes that stick out a little when viewed from the side. It floats above the ground, continuously spinning.


 
Nekoin inhabits Shield-Folk World, initially found in the southeastern part of the world, surrounded by several [[Yume Nikki:Shield-Folk|Shield-Folk]]. However, it is constantly on the move, possibly making it difficult to find within the world's emptier spaces. Due to its constant movement, it is recommended to use the [[Yume Nikki:Effects#Bicycle|Bicycle]] effect to catch up to it once it is eventually found.
