Wormiko's Room is where the game starts, and is a room within the apartment where Wormiko resides.
Features
Wormiko's Room is a small, nondescript grey room with cardboard boxes lining the walls. In the upper right corner is a slanted wall with a bay window and a broom. On the left side of the room is a door and a light switch. Interacting with the light switch will turn the lights on and off. Interacting with the door will lead to the rest of Wormiko's Apartments.
Against the north wall by the door is a computer, which the player can use to save the game. Next to it is a small cushion, with what appear to be the bones of a fish on the wall behind it, just above the baseboard. Interacting with the cushion will cause Wormiko to sit on it. After a short countdown animation of flesh being removed from a blue fish plays in the upper left corner of the screen, Wormiko will fall asleep, taking her to her Dream Room.
After entering the Car from Downtown, car keys will appear on a box, allowing access to it at any time.
Spoilers:
Occasionally after waking up from the dream world, the curtains over the bay window will be closed. This will lead to two possible events happening depending on what the player chooses to have Wormiko do next. Opening the door or turning on the computer will activate the Catgirl Ambush event, while having Wormiko pinch herself takes her to the Throne of Entrails.
Seeing the Throne of Entrails will cause the Hat and Scarf effect to appear on a pile of boxes against the bottom wall, from which it can be accessed at any point.
Spoilers end here.Wormiko's Dream Room
After falling asleep, Wormiko is placed in a cramped person-sized box. Walking down will cause her emerge from a big open box in the bottom right corner of her Dream Room. Said room is a dim version of Wormiko's room that is mostly identical aside from her computer, cushion, and broom being missing as well as the light switch being broken.
Opening the door to this dream version of Wormiko's apartment will lead to the Nexus.
Wormiko's Apartment
Leaving her real room places Wormiko in a small passage with some more boxes before entering the apartment's hallway proper. The apartment complex that Wormiko lives in mostly consists of six floors with grey walls and green tiles, five of which are identical corridors. All of the doors are locked except for Wormiko's on the fourth floor. Outside of her apartment door is what appears to be a pet carrier or some type of case. The first floor of the apartments is a simple corridor with a row of small mailboxes and a door leading outside to Downtown.
