Hey guys, I had a theory I wanted to present about the Child effect room. I believe that the room represents the creation of Yume 2kki. Let me explain.

So, t

Eggroom.PNG

he room has the following features:

  • A bed.
  • An egg with Urotsuki's shirt pattern on it.
  • A stone-looking rug with Madotsuki's shirt pattern on it.
  • Backround music which is a minimalistic cover of Yume Nikki's title screen.
  • A mural on the wall depicting humanoid figures bowing in a position suggesting worship, a humanoid with pigtails holding a sign with a heart, and a cat.

The mural in particular is what sparked this theory. Here's what I belive this mural means:

The Humanoid in Pigtails represents Yume Nikki, bearing a strong resembelence to Madotsuki.

The Cat represents either KIKIYAMA, the creator of Yume Nikki being unintrusive with the fanbase, or it represents .Flow, one of the first fangames. If we REALLY want to stretch, it could just be a reference to the Mall Rooftop's cat in Yume Nikki.

The Humanoid Figures represents us, the fanbase, showing our love of Yume Nikki, represented by the heart sign in the image.

And what other important thing is in this room?

Egg.PNG

This egg. Which gives Urotsuki the child effect. This whole room symbolizes the creation of Yume 2kki. Without Yume Nikki (and debatably .Flow), Yume 2kki would never have existed. It would never have the following that would lay the proverbial egg that would hatch into Yume 2kki.

What do you guys think about this?
