I got the wallpaper myself. I also got to Helmet Girl's room. If you go to the place with the checked floor and the tanuki, and interact with it twice you will make an elevator appear. Going in the elevator leads to a balcony you can't leave, but if you leave the area and not go in the elevator you will go to Helmet Girl's room.
