I've been watching some let's plays on Nicovideo, and there was this guy (プシュケイ ''pushukei'') who played the game since a long time ago. In the past versions of Yume 2kki, apparently, there was a zone which had branching grey roads with a handful of ghosts wandering around. It also had a connection to a zone with a well and a white building which would become The Hospital in the future versions.
