The Train Passengers are a group of NPCs that appear on the Traincar.

Overview

There are three different Train Passengers, each with different appearances:

  • Train Passenger A is a dark, hunched figure with red eyes and what appears to be either red hair or downward-pointed horns.
  • Train Passenger B is a purple figure with an oddly-shaped head, black hair, green eyes, and crossed legs.
  • Train Passenger C is a short, periwinkle figure with black hair and a single eye.

The passengers simply sit on the train as it moves to either Witch's Island or the Dark Woods. Train Passenger A only appears when the train is headed for Witch's Island while passengers B and C only appear en route to the Dark Woods.

When the Cat effect is used near them, they will change appearance instead of move. Train Passenger A will grow a large red eye on their face while Train Passengers B and C will appear annoyed by Madotsuki's meowing. The latter two passenger's reactions are notably similar to the reactions of E-Man and O-Man, who are also sitting NPCs.

Trivia

The unused Train Passenger.
  • There is an unused fourth Train Passenger that likely would have appeared alongside Train Passenger A, considering their similar style and appearance. Sprites exist for their normal state and (presumably) their reaction to the Cat effect.
