Kitsune Residence is a world accessible from the tree in Watching Waters.

Map of Kitsune Residence.

Features

Kitsune Residence is an open, looping map taking place on a yellow-tinted lake filled with various aquatic flora growing out of the waters. Foxes of various colours and variety can be found in every corner of the lake, sitting atop the plants or pillars that can be found within the world.

The foxes will have blue-eyed glares if the Chainsaw effect is equipped or the Wolf effect is used. They will stop moving if the Crossing effect is active. If the Fairy, Child, or Cake effect is equipped, they will have cheerful expressions and wag their tails faster. Using the Fairy effect will intensify said reaction.

Without unlocking any connections prior, the player will exit from the Watching Waters warp, which is in a room with lily pads and foxes sitting on them. West of the warp can be found what seems to be a catfish-like creature with a mushroom growing on top if its head. Two foxes also sit atop of the fish.

Going further west will lead the player to the Moon Fox section. Slightly south of the Moon Fox section is a room that contains a centipede-like creature with blue flowers growing out of its body. North of the Moon Fox section can be found a room with a large hand sculpture contained within and sun motifs engraved on its walls. The hand sculpture has a ring on its ring finger, while a white fox sits atop its middle finger. Beyond the player's reach is a concrete bed with many kinds of adornments sitting atop of it.

South of the Watching Waters warp can be found a room adorned with flowers from the floor all the way to the ceiling, with one sole plant interactable in the middle, which acts as the Lonely Mint Cemetery connection, unlocking the warp from said map to here.

North of the warp is a mini garden area. A vending machine with fox features can be found here, amongst yellow leaved trees and crows perching onto pillars. This vending machine reacts happily to the Boy, Fairy, Penguin, Cake, and Child effects, and frightened to the Chainsaw effect and howling with the Wolf effect. Using the Glasses effect changes the vending machine into a fox, but the fox will still act like a vending machine, though it will instead give green, yellow, and orange leaves (these do not give health). Further north leads to a room which nestles a large, yellow dragon resting on a bundle of flowers held up by a concrete structure. Going to the right side of the room teleports the player to Silver Rune Hall.
