Map of Candle Block World in its corrupt state

Upon first entering the world, it will be in its corrupted state. In this form, it will have a white background with a border of black squares, like the Check-Disk Nexus, and contain several things from the main area. Patches of tiles alternate between several appearances, all from the restored version of this world. Several candles with glitching sprites wander about. Urotsuki is teleported around the area at irregular intervals. Several thin multicolored NPCs can also be found running around, alternating between running from Urotsuki or chasing her. Being caught by them teleports her to another point in the area.

At the center of the area, southwest from where Urotsuki arrives from Check-Disk Nexus, is a floating computer file icon. Interacting with it plays a sound and causes a textbox with squares in it to appear, then sends Urotsuki back to the Check-Disk Nexus, outside the new door to this world. From then on, this world is in its Restored state.

Map of Candle Block World

In its restored state, the background of this area is brown, and depicts white candle creatures. Many gigantic candle structures fill the world, some of them bearing black animated black squares. Many smaller candles of varying types can also be found. While in this world, the screen slowly tints red and then fades back again in a cycle.

Southeast of the entrance is a file. Interacting with it restores the top left file in Check-Disk Nexus. Continuing east past the large building next to the file, then going north at the edge of said building leads to a purple pyramid with a hole in the side. Entering it leads to Indigo Pyramid Heaven.

Trivia

  • The Japanese name of this world, ロウ獄 (Rōgoku) is a pun on ロウソク (Rōsoku, Candle) and 牢獄 (Rōgoku, Prison).
  • Before version 0.122d patch 2, if Urotsuki exited this world while the red tint was increasing, the tint continued into the area exited to. It was removed by taking any exit from the Check-Disk Nexus, or by entering the NPC's room there.
