"However, the player ultimately controls Madotsuki -- it is unknown whether she would use the knife on her own." Sounds like "the protagonist of the video game "DooM" kills the demons, but the player ultimately controls him, and it is unknown whether he would kill the demons on his own" - Sorry for my not too good English - Aleksey from Lugansk176.109.180.38 09:11, September 4, 2013 (UTC)

*Yeah, I never really agreed with that point of view either. As far as I'm concerned - if a character can perform an action in a game world, then that's the character's 'choice'.
For example - The player can't make Madotsuki dance because she doesn't want to, even if the player is so inclined. But she does have a knife and she's capable of stabbing things if the player commands it, so I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that Madotsuki would be using the knife 'on her own'.
I think it's absurd to say that a player character like Mado has no 'responsibility' for their actions as most of the time the game dictates what the player does, not the other way around.
Are people who play Yume Nikki all suicidal? Do we want to go around stabbing people? Speaking for myself at least, I can say no with conviction. But I did those things in the game. So who's idea was that? Mine or hers? // TenhGrey (talk) 00:37, September 5, 2013 (UTC)

Accident theory

This can be worked on a lot. Personally, I think interpreting those bloated things as Madotsuki's mom's cadaver then linking it to the head in monochrome world blows away the Madotsuki is pregnant theory.

"Gender Issues"

There are tons of theories and millions of ways to interpret her dreams, but this 'transgender' is one of the stupidest. Why give it so many credit?
I don't know from where this theory came from, but it seems from these homossexual gropus who need to make everything gay, because they are protected by laws.

  • Gender identity is way more complicated than sexual orientation. What do you call a male to female that likes females? Get out of here with that stuff. What you just spouted was passive intolerance.

Knife

"However, the player ultimately controls Madotsuki -- it is unknown whether she would use the knife on her own." Sounds like "the protagonist of the video game "DooM" kills the demons, but the player ultimately controls him, and it is unknown whether he would kill the demons on his own" - Sorry for my not too good English - Aleksey from Lugansk176.109.180.38 09:11, September 4, 2013 (UTC)

  • Yeah, I never really agreed with that point of view either.
