I have the same issue as the below commentor. On Version 0.1a + latest patch, downloaded just moments ago. The Japanese error message appears to read something like "File object 1 cannot be opened." I've tried putting placeholder images named "1" in a few places to no effect (this actually worked with previous errors in the past, to my great elation. :P) Why some of us get this and others don't is certainly a mystery. Something minor and overlooked I'm sure.
