Unfortunately, there is no new effect. You're just missing the Crossing effect by the looks of it, since it was disabled in the newest version because a developer is making a new area for it to be obtained.
In order to activate it in 0.099h, you need to press F9 in the game and activate switch 0196 (I think). If you go to the pedestal now, there should be a glowing effect ball in front of it, and there you can get the effect.
