Deranged Faces Zone is a nightmarish area accessible from a sign in the Surreal Park.

Features

This monochrome area is notable for having a number of bizarre faces standing about. They don't appear to do anything when interacted with. There are also lots of smiley faces on the ground that can be walked on, as well as a border that surrounds your entire field of vision. The scrolling background appears to be a large bear-like creature with a forked tongue.

Northwest of the entrance is a circle of signs depicting Rorschach inkblots, with a psychiatrist sitting by a couch in the center. Kubotsuki can lay down on the couch, causing the background to go white as well as displaying a ghostly symmetrical pattern on the screen. Attempting to attack the psychiatrist with the Pencil effect with make him shout at you and unequip your effect. To the right of the inkblot circle are two stringy formations. Going between them will lead to the Cliffside Temple.
