Star Field is a world accessible from Totsutsuki's Nexus.

Features

This world features a large field of purple grass dotted with many trees and large star shapes on the ground. There are an assortment of mobiles hanging down from the sky, as well as little star characters walking around. On top of that, there are a number of houses in the area. The interiors of the houses contain furniture that is too small for Totsutsuki. One cluster of houses can be found southeast from the entrance. There are also two lone houses nearby, one of which has a staircase leading to a seemingly empty basement. Using the UV Light effect here will reveal a door, taking you to the Plant Laboratory. One can also find large orange pillars in the field. Walking through them will teleport you to the Sky Path.

Sky Path

This section of the world is a large, winding path branching off into many directions, hovering over a starry sky. In the leftmost corner of are two points of interest. The first being a slow hermit crab with a nightcap for a shell. Interacting with this NPC will give you the Nightcap effect. Down from that is a candle that takes you to Galleta World when interacted with. Going to the rightmost path on the map will take you to a small area with a bench for Totsutsuki to relax on, surrounded by mobiles. Continuing right from this screen will take you to Malice's House. Taking the path all the way down to the bottom of the map will lead to a large platform with two huge moon shapes and a white tree, serving as a connection to the Sky Islands.

Malice's House

The exterior of Malice's House is a brightly colored doodle of a large house with a mountain and a sun in the background. Interestingly, you enter the house through the mail slot in the door, rather than the door itself. Inside the house is a well-furnished bedroom with a blonde-haired girl named Malice. This room is very reminiscent of Poniko's Room from Yume Nikki. Interacting with the window in the room will take you to a small beach with an invisible ladder, which can only be seen with the UV Light effect. Going up the ladder will lead to the Crystal Caves.

Interacting with Malice will not do anything unless certain effects are equipped. Attempting to attack her with the Lily of the Valley effect with result in her unequipping your effect. Equipping the Sunflower effect will cause to to get excited and follow you around, jumping when interacted with. Lastly, using the UV Light effect will cause her color scheme to invert as she runs around frantically with her eyes glowing.

Directions

Totsutsuki's Nexus → Star Field

Trivia

  • The image on the rug in Malice's House seems to resemble the powerline area in the Rainy Garden. It is unknown if this was intentional or not.
  • This world looked very different in previous versions, using a much more subtle and muted color palette, as well as having different music. Malice's room was also a different hue.
