Dark Woods is an area populated by evergreen trees and the occasional small bunch of grass. Its background is entirely black, hence the name "Dark Woods". After wandering for a while, Urotsuki will likely encounter one of the many canals running through the area. There are sometimes panels over the parts of the canals that allow Urotsuki to cross. The area is populated by strabismic, multicolored creatures with spiraling tails, and contains a single vending machine and bench.

The exit to [[Spirit Capital]] can be reached by going to the Northeast corner of the square clearing Urotsuki first appears in, going North, crossing the train tracks, and then turning left to bring Urotsuki to the yellow-gray object on an island across one of the panels.
