The Scenic Outlook (山頂, Sanchō, Summit) is a small world accessible from the Bug Maze. One of the exits leads to the Bug effect.
Features
The world consists of a small cliff with a background of some mountains, which looks like an aerial view of a jungle.
If you chainsaw the bug guardian guarding the pole, it will come after you until it catches you. If you get past it, you will be taken to a small altar (祭壇, Saidan) where the Bug effect can be found.
Also of note is that you end up going into a different area if you have the Bug effect equipped while touching the pole. This area consists solely of a white space with a crudely drawn tree with eyes on it. Touching the tree leads to yet another area, a flaming wasteland. After a while, you get kicked back to the outlook as if nothing happened. Going down the stairs to the left leads to a small forest area. A wolf can sometimes be seen here. If you continue going to the left, the path will take you to the Fairy Tale Woods. If you go up the ladder and chainsaw the spider's web, you will be taken to a path designed similarly to the Bug Maze. When you reach the end of the path, you will see a large spider, who will then wrap you up in it's web. After this, you will be transported back outside in the forest
area.
There is also an entrance here from the Valentine Land, although it is one way. Find the plus shaped area and go to its center to reach the outside of the area where you find the Bug effect. Interacting with the pole at the far end will take you to a looping hallway filled with poles along with a bug statue you see in various locations, although usually impossible to interact with. Here, you can interact with it. Doing so warps you to all the locations where you can see it, finally stopping in a giant monochrome room, where a grey statue that looks like Urotsuki sits at the top. Touching it turns the real Urotsuki gray, before you finally wake up.
