Okay, I'm thinking about removing this, it seemed stupid.


Basically, what I mean is that there's an area in here where you can travel north forever and make no progress at all. The top half of a circular path teleports to the bottom instead of the top like it should, meaning if you follow it you'll travel in a figure- eight pattern without ever going south OR seeing the crossroad that a figure- eight path dictates MUST be there; such a path is impossible to construct in real life. As for the Cyber Maze... Really, it's especially stupid there, I was thinking that euclidean geometry couldn't allow for it to join together like it did, but technically, by that logic, ''every'' scrolling world in the game is broken in that same way because euclidean geometry cannot at ''all'' translate to a flat surface. (actually, now that I think about it, you actually COULD construct the Cyber Maze in reality because all the paths have different lengths and thus their junctions could just loop around to different heights) So really, since impossible geometry is a regular thing in this game, both of these trivia factoids are either not elaborated upon enough (in the case of the Ocean Floor) or totally pointless (In the case of the Cyber Maze)

About your two examples... Never-Ending Hallway is technically impossible as well, but actually, nothing about the Chaotic Buildings breaks any sort of geometric laws. If you had the money and the resources, you could ACTUALLY build the Chaotic Buildings in real life because of this. (I don't recommend it though, it would be very unstable and not a suitable place to live at all)

Impossible geometry?

Can somebody please explain what is this phrase supposed to mean? As far as our universe is concerned, any looping map should be impossible (well, at least at small distances). Likewise, when I hear "impossible geometry" I think of something like Chaotic Buildings or Never-Ending Hallway. What exactly makes Cyber Maze and this map so impossible? Cyber Maze in particular seems like a regular spherical map, so what's the big idea?
