The Red Desert was a small area in version 0.083c accessible from a tunnel on the Highway. By 0.089b, it was expanded and changed from its original version, and removed entirely in 0.091h, with Purple Neon Maze as its replacement.
Features
The Red Desert started out as a mostly empty, looping area with a heavily-saturated red tint. Southeast of the Highway entrance was a small fenced area filled with eyeball-like succulents. A small hole in the fence allowed you to enter this area. The sole inhabitant of this world was a single Shadow ???, located slightly to the north of the fenced area. A little northwest of the Shadow ??? is a small red target, which does nothing.
By 0.089b, the area grew in size and the succulents were removed and replaced by red eyeball NPCs.
