Template:Infobox The Black Cat is an NPC that appears on the Mall Rooftop.

When Madotsuki enters the area, it is randomly found in one of three positions on the rooftop.

It is commonly seen sitting atop the door well or on the rooftop air conditioners on the left, but there is a 1/64 chance that it may be found to the right of the doorway on the floor.

It doesn't move around when Madotsuki is in the area, but every 20 seconds or so it will wash itself with its tongue, as cats do.

Interaction

It makes a meowing noise when interacted with, but only when it can be reached on the floor level.

The Black Cat exhibits all the standard reactions to the Cat, Stoplight and (when it can be reached) the Knife effect.

Trivia

  • When the knife is held, its red eyes turn white.
  • In traditional western folklore, black cats are associated with witches. This is a subtle clue given by KIKIYAMA that the Witch effect has a special function in the area; namely the Witch's flight event.
