Abandoned Pools is a lonely area accessible from the floating orb in the Clash of Mutated Forms.

Features

This world is covered with fog, and there are a number of seemingly bottomless pools of water and lots of dark blue monoliths dotting the place. There are many things to be found here, such as lanterns floating in some pools, diving boards, drawings of faces on the ground, strange demon-like statues, and a huge waterslide. Towards the top of the map, you can find two cubes with spirals on them. Going between these cubes will tranform the area into a narrow winding path. Along this path are ghostly women floating in the water with their mouths wide open. This path currently leads to a dead end.

One of the monolith structures in the main area is much brighter than the others and has a door on it. Entering the door will lead to the locker rooms, where there are many humanoid statues scattered around. In between two of the statues is a floating blue square which teleports you to the Pink Desert. There is also a single locker that is open. Going inside will lead to a small hallway that is currently blocked off.

Trivia

This world used to be quite different prior to version 0.07. It had a much grittier art style, as well as the pools being a lot more shallow. There was also a lack of fog.
