The Forest Pier (桟橋の森, Sanbashi no Mori) is an area accessible from the dented screw in the Cog Maze.

    Features

The area closely resembles both the Dark Forest and The Docks: the former for its grassy paths overshadowed by trees and the latter for its maze-like placement of dock platforms. The world is much more saturated in color, however, and the trees also serve to disorient you as some are covering up parts of the piers.

There are several neon creatures wading in the water, as well as a giant green tentacle-like character with one large eyeball moving in place in one of the more secluded parts of the area. A green creature similar to Pirori from Yume Nikki wading in the water deep in the docks area reacts to several effects. A creature similar to the aforementioned tentacle-creature, a red amorphous-shaped creature with an eye, inhabits a stone carving deeper in the area. Chainsawing the center of the carving where the creature is presumably attached will kill it.

At the end of a winding maze of piers deeper in the area, you may come to a small boat. This will allow you to sail in the water (as the other boats in the game do) along a river into a silent area. Passing through the mouth of the large head here will take you to a darkened river, and continuing to sail along it will lead you to the Waste Plant.
