"Hell" is the name commonly given to the largest area in the game, also known as the "Red Maze". It contains several links to other places via red blocks, as well as a few areas not reachable by any other means. Its exploration is necessary for two of the effects.

This is one of the few places you can get a "Heart" and links to many maps. Oftentimes maps leading here have Toriningen blocking the way. Madotsuki's ghost is located in another red maze area, but this area is not connected to the larger Hell.

Trivia

In the beta version of Yume Nikki, something resembling a funhouse mirror could be found in one of the largest rooms of the maze. This item gave Madotsuki the Fat effect. It has since been removed, or at least coded to appear only by chance.
A large red monster can be found in the center of the maze, which can be stabbed multiple times leading to the footprint trail in Eyeball world.
